In essence, we are
all teachers. We

unique to share and
an instinct to uplift
each other, whether
we teach formally
or informally. This
course is the opportunity
to commit to positive
change and to connect
with others willing
to do the same. As
a certified Kundalini
Yoga teacher, you
will be trained according
to the sacred tradition
passed on by Yogi
Bhajan® to carry
the legacy of Kundalini
Yoga into the future.
Kundalini
Yoga: Balancing Body,
Mind & Spirit
The technology
of yoga has helped
man to achieve health,
happiness and inner
peace for over 5,000
years. Yoga originated
in India as a means
to maintain both
physical and psychological
well-being. Today,
the focus is on the
practical aspects
of stress reduction
and increased flexibility,
but there is also
an underlying spiritual
theme as many people
are looking within
and using the meditation
practices to feel
centered and calm.
The versatility of
Kundalini yoga allows
the student to focus
specifically on the
physical, emotional,
or spiritual, or
a combination of
all three.
With
the regular practice
of Kundalini yoga,
you can develop an
incredible awareness
of what is happening
inside of you physically,
emotionally and spiritually.
As you increase this
awareness, you increase
control over how
you respond to the
world and the events
around you. As a
result, you acquire
the ability to recognize
many forms of stress
and to make changes
that will prevent
the development of
psychosomatic illness
such as high blood
pressure, heart disease,
asthma and diabetes.
The
word yoga derives
its meaning from
the Sanst word "yug",
meaning yoke, to
unite, or to bring
together. Besides
providing a system
for achieving union
and healing with
others and a higher
force, we are also
given the tools to
heal our own body,
mind, and spirit. |
